About this sports bingo set
Sports bingo is the standard fix for a rained-off PE lesson and a reliable filler for sports day. The list covers twenty disciplines plus match-day vocabulary, and it deliberately includes both rugby and cricket alongside baseball and basketball so it reads correctly in the UK and North America alike. That makes it usable as a listening game, a sports-day trail where pupils mark events they watch, or a club-house activity on a wet Saturday. Cards are generated in the browser with nothing uploaded, so you can print from the school office, and every card in a batch is unique. Save the seed to reprint identical cards for the second heat. Print spares for the second heat — cards get sat on, rained on and left on the field.
Who it suits
PE teachers, sports club volunteers, and families watching a tournament together.
Ways to play
- Sports-day trail: cover a square when that event is called on the tannoy.
- Watching version for a tournament at home.
- Guess-the-sport round where the caller describes the rules.

Questions
Does this cover both UK and US sports?
Yes — rugby and cricket sit alongside baseball and basketball, so the list works on both sides of the Atlantic.
Can I add our own school sports?
Yes. Paste your event list into the custom word box and the cards will be built from it.
What grid size should I use?
4x4 is a good default for a short lesson; 5x5 lasts longer and suits a whole afternoon.
