Print first, browser only
Printable exists because most printable generators treat printing as an afterthought: you get a screenshot-quality page that looks fine on a laptop and falls apart in the print dialog. Here the printed sheet is the actual product. Cards are laid out in millimetres, navigation and buttons disappear on paper, and grids are kept on a single page.
Why it runs entirely in your browser
A generator for classroom word lists does not need a server. Keeping everything client-side removes the signup wall, removes any question about what happens to the words you type, and means the page still works when the wifi does not — which is exactly when you discover you need an activity. There is no database because there is nothing to store.
What is on the site
- Two generators: bingo cards and word search puzzles.
- 30 published themes across 0 categories, each with its own hand-built word list — holidays, classroom subjects, parties and hobbies.
- A4 and US Letter output, 3×3 / 4×4 / 5×5 grids, up to 30 unique cards per batch.
- A seed for every batch, so a set can be reproduced exactly later.
Independence
Printable is an independent project. It is not affiliated with any bingo brand, puzzle publisher or sports league, and no official logos or protected artwork are used anywhere on the site. If something is broken or a word list is wrong, email winyeates@gmail.com — corrections are made and dated on the relevant page.
