About this book club bingo set
Book club bingo is designed as a season-long reading challenge rather than a five-minute game, so the squares describe formats, genres and reading habits instead of any particular book. One card can carry a whole term: cover a square each time you finish a memoir, borrow from the library, or dog-ear a page you want to quote. It works for a formal reading group, a school library challenge, or a personal reading goal, and because nothing is uploaded you can generate a card per member in a couple of minutes. Cards within a batch are unique, so nobody in the group has an identical challenge. Print one card per member at the start of a season and review them at the final meeting.
Who it suits
Book clubs, school librarians and readers running a personal reading challenge.
Ways to play
- Season challenge: one card per reader, finished over a term.
- Meeting version where squares are covered during discussion.
- Genre-only challenge for readers trying to broaden their habits.
Words hidden in this book club puzzle
26 words, written for this theme only. Source: Written from library reading-challenge sheets and publishing vocabulary, keeping the words a reading group uses when discussing a book rather than any specific titles.

Questions
Is this tied to a specific book?
No. The squares cover formats, genres and reading habits, so the same card works whatever the group is reading.
Can I use it as a year-long challenge?
Yes, that is how most groups use it — one card per reader, marked over several months.
Can I add our own genres?
Yes, paste your own list into the custom word box.
